Matthew Brodie, Cessnock High School Year 11 student, knows how that feels and he completed in a 35 overs fixture.
Playing for the Cessnock High School Open Boys team, the 16-year old scored 207 runs against Belmont High School.
Brodie’s innings included 17 sixes and 20 fours in his massive innings as Cessnock High posted 7/291 to beat Belmont High by 141 runs in the third round of the open boys knockout competition.
In April last year Brodie scored a half century in India while on two-week tour playing for the SCG Squad
