Residents of Huntlee and surrounding townships are invited to celebrate the festive season this Friday evening with a free outdoor screening of family favourite The Grinch.

The celebrations will be held in the park next to the Huntlee Land Sales Centre from 6.30pm, with a Christmas carols singalong, street food options and coffee.

Santa will arrive in the back of a fire truck around 7.30pm, then it’s time to settle back with free popcorn and enjoy the movie at 8pm.

Residents are encouraged to bring a picnic rug or low camping chair, and leave a gift or non-perishable food item under the Huntlee Helping Hand tree, which will go to Jodie’s Place women’s and children’s refuge.
