Funds raised at Bunnings Warehouse Cessnock on the day will go directly to Neath Rural Fire Brigade.
Complex manager Graeme Champion said it is a terrific way for team members and all Australians to show their appreciation for these everyday heroes and the important work they carry out.
“The team is looking forward to manning the barbecue and doing their bit to help raise funds and awareness at such a critical time of year for NSW RFS,” he said.
NSW RFS Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons said he is always excited for this time of year to roll around as it’s great to see the community come together to help support the emergency services.
The barbecue will run from 9am to 4pm.
