SMELTER MEMORIAL
The old tall smelter chimney has been the skyline from all positions since the 1960s, it would be a shame if it was demolished to make way for more housing estates. Why not turn the area around it into park area and the chimney can become the biggest painted mural for our city and it would attract even more tourists. I’m sure there are even better ideas from the public. Save the chimney.
