Years 1 to 6 arrived at school on Tuesday, when the school launched its term one whole-school project, 'How to be your best self!'.
“The students began the day in their new classrooms with their new teachers talking about the changes to the school day, looking at the school rules and values and exploring the deep learning skills they will need for the project,” principal Narelle Hunt said.
All students given a white shirt emblazoned with the project’s name, and participated in an aerobics and fitness circuit, a colour run and a sausage sizzle.
“The children had a ball, the excitement on their faces was amazing and by the end of the day they were all colourful, tired and happy,” Ms Hunt said.
The 'How to be your best self!’ project will be showcased at the annual school fair on April 6.
Displays on fitness, food and wellbeing will be on show, along with rides and stalls.
