The land release will kick off with an open day starting at 9am, running through to midday.
The estate heralds another prime investment in the Hunter Valley for Iris Capital, keen to support a growing Hunter Valley economy and provide affordable housing in a pressured housing market.
Iris Capital is a development and hospitality group whose portfolio includes a number of Sydney hotels as well as recent Hunter winery acquisitions, Hungerford Hill and Sweetwater.
The group also has an extensive property portfolio with developments in Newcastle’s east end.
Wyndham Ridge, off West Street, Greta, will shape the township of Greta, providing living opportunities for families in a semi-rural setting close to major cities.
There is a wide range of large lots on offer (71 in stage one), to ensure people choosing to live outside the city can enjoy all the benefits of having spacious house blocks surrounded by trees and nature.
“This isn’t like any other development,” Iris Capital General Manager Craig Hibbard said.
“We respect that the township of Greta offers people the unique opportunity to be closer to nature, and Wyndham Ridge ensures people have space for trees, gardens, pets and a big shed if they want.”
Saturday’s open day will feature a range of family friendly activities including a petting zoo, jumping castle, balloon artist and face painting, plus complimentary barbecue and coffee.
