Described as ‘inspiring and hard to put down’, the part-memoir provides a biographical account of Tony’s own personal experiences of living and working all around the world.
The journey begins in Shanghai, China where Tony spent his childhood, his travels continued taking him to South Africa and the United Kingdom.
The author returned to Australia, taking on the post of Head of School, Political Science and International Relations at the University of New South Wales, and resides in Wollombi.
From the Whangpoo to the Wollombi offers an insight into the world of a young person displaced by conflict and revolution. It has historical values but tackles questions for future generations.
The author talk will run from 10.30am to 11.30am, and will include a question-and-answer session.
The book will be available for purchase and signing.
Morning tea will be provided, and bookings are essential. Call Kurri Kurri Library on 4937 1638 to reserve your place.
