Cessnock Stomp Festival organisers were thrilled with the turnout for this year’s festival, estimating about 17,000 people flocked to Vincent Street on Sunday.

The festival boasted 600 metres of wine, beer, food, markets, kids activities and live music – starting at the 2CHR-FM corner all the way to Hall Street.
The radio station hosted during the festival, with artists from country music clubs including Bellbird, Singleton and Steel City among the performers.
“2CHR was extremely proud of the local artists that excelled themselves with entertainment being at such a high level,” presented Sammy Hollier said.
“2CHR would like to thank our volunteers that braved the heat to helped make the day as great as it was.”
