Landsborough will appear at Weston Workers Club on Saturday, June 9.
The seasoned performer came to international attention with his best-selling hit What Colour is the Wind – his own composition about a little blind boy’s take on the world through unseeing eyes.
His music ranges from inspirational to country, ballad to anthem, folk to blues – and he also has a natural gift for making people laugh.
He has amassed a legion of loyal fans during five highly-successful visits to Australia, but has decided it’s time to bid a fond farewell.
Some of Australia’s finest musicians – Vaughan Jones on keyboard; Kelvin Nolan on lead guitar and Dallas Southam on pedal steel/dobro – will form Charlie Landsborough Band for the tour, and Landsborough’s good friend and tour promoter, Terry Gordon OAM, will open each show.
The Weston show starts at 8pm. Call the club on 4937 1101 for bookings.
