Hope Estate is combining two of the Hunter’s greatest passions, chocolate and cheese, to create the ultimate foodie festival.
The Hunter Valley Chocolate and Cheese Festival will make its debut at the Pokolbin venue this Saturday.
The festival will showcase the talents of many local and national cheese makers, bakers, and chocolatiers, along with great food, fine wine and craft beer from the Hunter Valley.
The event will feature demonstrations by culinary experts including Georgia Barnes (runner-up Masterchef 2015), Peter Carpenter (Hunter Valley Chocolate Company), Greg Burge (Callebaut Australia), Jason Chesworth (Hunter Belle Dairy Co), Lyndall Dykes (The Cheesemaking Workshop and Deli) and InterContinental Sydney’s head pastry chef Simon Veauvy, plus competitions and masterclasses.
There will also be live music by The Hummingbirds, Jason Bone and Adrianna Mac.
The festival will run from 10am to 5pm.
