Support has been flooding in from across the district including the delivery of a package of training equipment last week courtesy of KO-FM and Rebel Sport.
Outgoing coach Dean Peterkin said the club had already raised more than $7500 from various donors.
“Most has just come from local people chipping in and helping out,” Peterkin .
“We can’t thank you enough, but a big thank you to a some special organisations for big donations in recent weeks including Dilmar Engineering, Adamstown Lions Club, Saxonvale CMFEU Lodge, Bulga Open Cut Mine and Mallaby Sheet Metal.
“Victor Sports also donated supplies such as strapping tape and medical equipment to start the next season off a little easier.
“Kotara Bears Rugby League Club, an opponent of ours this year, donated a rebel sport voucher which will also go towards rebuilding our training equipment supplies.”
Support also came from Hotel Denman Cricket Club, the Country Rugby League and Campbell Scott to get the club on the field in the grand final.
The Hawks AGM is on Sunday, October 14, at the Hotel Denman from 11am.
