Go green and have fun
In the last school holidays we bought a worm cafe from Bunnings to turn our food scraps into fertiliser. Setting this up was a heap of fun and took up a good couple of hours. The worm cafe is about $85 then you need to buy some composting worms (also at Bunnings). The whole exercise probably cost us around $130 but apparently the farm can process up to 4kg a week of food scraps!
