The current store at 126 Vincent St, Cessnock will close on Thursday afternoon and is set to re-locate to a new location in the CBD in coming weeks.
Cessnock Salvation Army Captain Darryn Lloyd said the store was closing due to the lease expiring with the premises set to be handed over on Monday.
But he said customers could be reassured that the shop will re-open in a bigger and better location in the next couple of weeks.
Captain Lloyd would not confirm the new location but said it was in the Cessnock CBD area and had good parking access.
