The award winning Cessnock law firm offers assistance across dispute resolution, commercial law, intellectual law, property law, conveyancing and wills and estates matters.
Special Counsel, Robin Mallik has a career that spans 42 years and is proud of the long standing relationships that have developed through that time.
"You can't be in a country town and not be part of the community, the two go hand and hand and so that means we are very much invested in each and every client we act for," he begins.
You can't be in a country town and not be part of the community
"It takes integrity and a care for clients that is second to none. It's not like operating in a big city, when you're in a country town you see clients everyday, in fact they are not just clients, they are friends and colleagues - we are all part of the community."
Partner Adriana Care agrees, stating that trust forms the basis for every interaction the firm has with its clients.
"Our clients come first, always, and its important that they know they can trust us, not only in acting in their best interests but to always provide clear communication that is easily understood."
Communication is the linchpin of the company, along with a genuine desire to ease the pressure that legal matters can often cause.
"At the conclusion of a matter - to see people's delight - it's the reason we do this. People come in with a burden, a legal burden - we have solutions for them and to see the relief on their face, when they realise the problem is not insurmountable - that's so great to see." Adds Robin.
The passion echoed from Robin threads right through the firm and drives their commitment to engage in community charity events and where appropriate, Pro Bono work. As a proud supporter for Relay for Life and active in contributing to the Apex Foundation it appears the Coutts Mallik team will be making an impact for many more years to come.
