Fresh from hosting a qualifying round of the King of MX series in May, the Maitland District Motorcycle Club will be again on the national motorsport stage for the July 14 event.
It promises to be a huge event for the city and will feature a chance to get up personal with the stars with a Street Eats MX National Edition in the Levee on Friday, July 12.
The evening will feature rider signings and a livestream by NRG TV, food trucks and plenty more.
After a six week break, the MX Nationals Series roars back into action this weekend at Gympie in Queensland and is expected to bring $400,000 plus into the local economy
MX Nationals Series promoter Kevin Williams said riders who were challenged in the first half of the series will be working hard to seek redemption and keep themselves in the fight for the championship.
Clout reasserted himself at the top of the series after rounds four and five at Murray Bridge before the mid-season break.
Before heading to the US for Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, Australian No.1 plate holder Dean Ferris won both moto in round four to clean sweep Luke Clout and Hayden Mellross.
In round five, Ferris took out Superpole but went onto struggle throughout the day while Clout dominated both the back to back motos and was second in the afternoon moto behind Todd Waters.
Clout holds a four point lead over his nearest rival Mellross and is 10 ahead of Waters, but acknowledges now is the time to really knuckle down as the championship heads towards the business end of the season.
"The first half of the MX Nationals has gone well, and the CDR Yamaha Monster Energy Team have worked hard to ensure we have all the tools required to win," he said.
"Apart form the first round in the mud, I have been consistent at the other four rounds and that will need to continue if I'm any chance to win the championship this year."
