The family fun day will take place at the grounds of Cessnock TAFE from 10am to 2pm.
There will be a didgeridoo player, didgeridoo workshops, jewellery making, basket weaving and games at the event, along with entertainment, food stalls, rides and a barbecue.
The event is free to attend. All day ride passes will be available for $20.
A flag raising ceremony will open the event at 10am to honour Aboriginal people and reconciliation.
Meanwhile, the other NAIDOC event on this week is a Koori Cook Off at 10am today at Cessnock Hospital. Watch three teams compete to make the tastiest, healthiest recipes using bush tucker.
