Despite some blustery weather on Saturday, Pokolbin's inaugural End2End Festival went off with nary a hitch.

"Everything went really well," organiser Grant Smith said. "It was a rough day with the wind but other than that there were no hiccups and the public's perception was that it was a great day out."
The inaugural festival saw Ben Ean, McLeish Estate, Draytons Family Wines and Cypress Lakes offer up some of the best wine and produce the region has to offer and Mr Smith said that around 2000 people braved the wind on the day.
Mr Smith added that much of the success of the festival was due to diversity as well as ease of access thanks to continuous shuttle buses.
"There really was something for everybody, from masterclasses, entertainment and various site activities," he said. "Now we've got this one under our belt we will be looking to offer a bigger and better festival again next year where we will be looking to expand on the food offerings and site activities for next year's festival."
