A convoy of 32 hot air balloons carrying 150 passengers traveled from Greta Migrant Camp over the Hunter Valley to Maitland Airport on Sunday morning as part of the region's annual Balloon Fiesta.

Around 500 passengers and pilots launched into the skies on commercial and privately piloted balloons over the four-day festival, ending today.
Matthew Scaife, senior pilot and director of Balloon Aloft, the flying company that hosts the annual event, said Sunday's conditions were "ideal".
"We went right up to 5000 feet up this morning and had great speed," he said.
Around 50 cars of spectators followed the balloons' journeys from the ground.
Popular special-shaped balloons, including the Love Heart and Balloony McBalloonface, were also on display during the fiesta.
The annual balloon festival, which is in its 9th year, saw the hundreds of passengers take to the skies at sunrise before they were whisked off to a champagne breakfast at Petersons winery.
