GET CREATIVE AT WILD LEARNING

Wild Learning has a great range of creative activities for young people during the school holidays. Upcoming events include Dreamtime stories and songs for Stage 1 children (Monday, January 20, 10am); handmade string and bracelets for Stages 2 and 3 (Monday, January 20, 12.30pm); school holiday music for kids (Tuesday, January 21 at 2pm), Calm and Confident Kids - a self-care class for kids and adults; (Wednesday, January 22 at 12.30pm) and Art Studio for Young People (Thursday, January 23 at 3pm). FUNDRAISER FOR BLACK DOG

Chelmsford Hotel Kurri Kurri

A fundraiser for the Black Dog Institute will be held at the Chelmsford Hotel Kurri Kurri this Saturday (January 18). There will be raffles and auctions from midday, and live music by Revampt from 8pm.

LIBRARY FUN

Cessnock and Kurri Libraries; Branxton Community Hall

Cessnock City Libraries have a fantastic school holiday program this summer. This week's fun includes Lego Boost and Technics workshops on Thursday, January 17 (10am-12pm at Kurri, 2pm-4pm at Cessnock, and Seed Bombs for Bees at Branxton Community Hall (Monday, January 20 3pm-4pm), Cessnock Library (Tuesday, January 21, 2pm-3pm) and Kurri Library (Wednesday, January 22, 3pm-4pm), cost $5. Cessnock Library will also host a free film and craft session on Friday, January 17 from 2pm-4pm, and a floating ink class on Monday, January 20 from 12pm-1pm (wear old clothes).
