The chamber had been holding networking events via Zoom since the COVID-19 pandemic was declared, but will return in-person with a COVID-safe event at Cessnock Leagues Club on Tuesday, October 13.
This month's breakfast will focus on domestic violence and mental health, with guest speakers including Cessnock mayor Bob Pynsent, Natalie Mitchell from headspace, Will Doran from Cessnock Walks Kawuma and Paula Mudd from Jodie's Place.
"Domestic violence and mental health are continuing to be a concern for the Cessnock LGA community," town coordinator Anthony Burke said.
"Cessnock Chamber is inviting all businesses and organisations to come together and to stand up and say no to domestic violence."
The breakfast will start at 7am and tickets are available at cessnockchamber.com.au. COVID-19 regulations will apply.
