SENIORS TECH WORKSHOP
Kurri Kurri Library will host a 'Be Connected' workshop for seniors on Thursday, focusing on the basics of operating their smartphones, along with photography tips. The workshop will run from 10am to noon. Bookings are essential and can be made online via libraries.cessnock.nsw.gov.au, or by calling 4937 1638.
ART EXHIBITIONS
Michèle Heibel's latest exhibition, Making Time, will open at Gallery 33 Laguna this Friday, and runs until March 29. Read more here.
The Old Fireshed Gallery at Wollombi Cultural Centre will host an exhibition of decoupage by Pixie Maloney, opening this Friday evening and running until December 20. The gallery is open weekends from 11am to 3pm.
The Little Wild Gallery and Shop at Wild Learning, West Cessnock is open Saturday from 10.30am to 2pm (and whenever the sign is out the front), with works by 15 local artists on display.
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Kurri Retired Mineworkers will meet at the Kurri Senior Citizens Centre on Monday, December 7 at 10am. It will be the branch's "Fish and Chip" day, and all members are cordially invited to attend.
