The grand finals were postponed after last weekend's wet weather and were originally rescheduled for this Saturday.
Association secretary Mark Bercini said the CDCA board voted unanimously in favour of deferring the games until Sunday.
"The decision was based around giving curators as much time to get pitches and outfields up to finals standard," Bercini said.
The cricket association was granted special approval to host the grand finals this weekend, as all council grounds except for Miller Park cricket grounds are closed due to the wet weather and won't be reinspected until Monday.
Risk assessments will be carried out at each ground.
GRAND FINAL SCHEDULE

EARLIER REPORT: Cricket grand finals rescheduled
Monday, March 22, 3.08pm
All Cessnock District Cricket grand final fixtures have been rescheduled to this Saturday after the weekend's deluge closed sporting fields around the city.
Minor premiers Greta/Branxton will take on Bellbird at East End Oval in first grade, with the winner to take home the Ross Smith Memorial Shield.
As reported last week, it is probably the final time the Ross Smith Memorial Shield will be played for, with the success of the half-season Coalfields Cup competition more than likely to develop into a full season next time around.
All cricket fans across the district are encouraged to get to East End Oval to witness what should be a great finale to the season with little separating the two sides.
In second grade, Chelmsford Hotel are up against Wine Country at Carmichael 1, while Wine Country Blue will face Bellbird at Miller 1 in third grade, and Bellbird Maroon will play Chelmsford Hotel at Miller 2 in fourth grade. All games start at 12.30pm.
