Suplex Professional Wrestling was founded as a training school in 2017 and started holding regular shows - primarily at East Cessnock Bowling Club - the following year.
Founder and trainer James 'Jackson Spade' Mitchell said Suplex prides itself on being the best homegrown professional wrestling show in the Hunter.
"In three years we have developed and trained some of the best wrestling the country has to offer and we will continue doing so for many more!" he said.
"We will be celebrating our third birthday party with a 10-man over-the-top rope battle royal, filled with Suplex stars from the past three years."
Cessnock's own 'Bubbles' and 'ALAN!' are among the crowd favourites set to appear in Saturday night's showcase.
ALAN! is chasing his first-home town win against none other than Spade, the longest-reigning heavyweight champion in the federation's history.
He encourages locals to come on down to ECBC, escape the real world and immerse yourself in the Suplex Universe.
ALAN! says says his favourite thing about wrestling is the connection between performer and audience.
"A pair of great wrestlers can take any fan of professional wrestling - long-time or first-time - on an emotional rollercoaster inside just seven minutes and that is a beautiful thing," he said.
Bubbles says he too loves entertaining the crowd and seeing their reaction.
"I love knowing what we do makes them happy," he said.
Another local homegrown star, JB Hazard, will be defending his Suplex undisputed championship against Sydney veteran Matt Bailey.
The G.O.Ds will defend their Suplex tag team championships and Benny the Backrower will defend his Suplex streaming championship.
Doors open at 6pm Saturday and it's an all-ages show.
Tickets are available at moshtix.com.au until 3pm Saturday or when sold out.
