It was a tight race but Australian Hotels Association NSW has crowned the state's best parmi at the annual award ceremony in Randwick on October 31. Venues from across the state provided fierce competition but one pub had the right crumb, sauce and chicken breast to take the title. Some of the finalists for the best parmi included Eagle Hawk Hotel at Sutton, Ophir Hotel at Orange and Waterfront Tavern at Shell Cove. But the prize went to the Country Club Hotel Tooleybuc's parmigiana with whole chicken breast with a fresh crumb, Napoli sauce, ham and cheese with an option to add pepper, gravy, mushroom or garlic butter. Located in the Western Riverina, Country Club Hotel Tooleybuc was also a finalist for best steak sandwich. IN OTHER NEWS:
