Mulletfest at the Chelmsford Hotel, Kurri Kurri and the Red Hot Chili Peppers at Hope Estate will both run on the second day of the show on February 23.
But there’s enough time to go to all three events, with the fun kicking off at Cessnock Showground on February 22.
The main feature of this year’s show is the Demolition Derby on Saturday night.
There will also be stilt walkers and fireworks on Saturday night and rides and Professor Wallace’s Puppet Show on both days.
The horse competition will also run on both days, with a $200 prize for Supreme Horse this year donated by Jurd’s Real Estate.
The poultry competition will be held on Saturday, but there won’t be a cooking or handiwork section due to a lack of volunteers.
Entry is $10 for adults, $5 for pensioners and kids under 16, $25 for family (two adults and three children) and kids under 5 years free.
