The Advertiser will present its 37th annual Letters to Santa feature on Wednesday, December 18.

From Barbies and BMX bikes back in 1983, to Emma Wiggle and Paw Patrol in 2018, the Christmas wishes of hundreds of children have been forwarded to Santa Claus via the Advertiser office over the years.

As announced this week, the office will be closing on December 20, and while the Advertiser will continue to be published as usual, this year's Letters to Santa feature will be our last.

Local children are invited to drop their letters to Santa in the box at our office (155 Vincent Street, Cessnock) during business hours.

Letters are due by 5pm Thursday, December 12.

The December 18 edition will be the last Advertiser for the year, returning January 8, 2020.
