TRADITION CONTINUES: Clint Ekert from Balloon Worx, the new drop-off point for the Advertiser's Letters to Santa.

Hey kids - Christmas is just over a month away, so if you haven't written your letter to Santa Claus yet, now's the time!

The Advertiser will once again publish the Christmas wishes of local children in our annual Letters to Santa feature, as we have every year since 1983.

Following the closure of our Vincent Street office at the end of last year, Balloon Worx will be the local drop-off point for your letters in 2020.

Letters can be dropped off in store, or mailed to Santa Claus, c/o Balloon Worx, 92 Vincent Street, Cessnock.

Letters are due by 5pm on Wednesday, December 16, to ensure they make it to the North Pole on time.

"We have proudly passed on hundreds of beautiful letters to Santa from the children of Cessnock over the past 37 years," Advertiser senior journalist Krystal Sellars said.

"We thank Balloon Worx for helping us to continue this wonderful tradition."

The Letters to Santa feature will appear in the Advertiser on December 23, which will be our last edition of the year.
