Under a revamped format, this year's nominations have been open since April, with monthly winners to go in the running for the Chamber Choice trophy at the awards night in October.
Cessnock Business Chamber president Allan Davies said it was a pleasure to present Kim with her award.
"Kim was so excited to receive her award, as well as being recognised for excellence customer service by her very happy customers," he said.
"Her nomination mentioned how welcoming Kim is and how the staff at Snitzerella's go out of their way to create a great eating experience."
Kim joins Donna Howson from Cessnock City Council (April), Michael Treloar from Leading Edge Electronics (May) and Toni Ralston of Oliver Campbell Heslop Solicitors (June) on the list of monthly winners.

Mr Davies encourages the community to continue to lodge their nominations.
"Remember, if you experience excellent service at any of our fabulous businesses in town please nominate them either by using the QR code contained in the flyer in the premises or visit the Cessnock Business Chamber website," he said.
The awards have five main categories (hospitality and tourism, retail, trade and training, professional, and community and wellbeing), with 18 sub-categories.
Anyone who makes a nomination will go into the draw to win $100 Cessnock Dollars (to be spent at a local business).
