THE 30-year-old Yarrabilba mother whose daughter was reported missing after falling asleep on a school bus last month has appeared in the Beaudesert Magistrates Court on seven charges. Speaking on behalf of Bobbie-Jo Langdon, the duty lawyer asked for an adjournment for Ms Langdon to seek legal aid. Ms Langdon has been charged with three counts of stealing and one each of failure to dispose of a needle, possession of drug utensils, possession of drugs and domestic violence order breach. Ms Langdon is yet to enter a plea to the charges. She will appear at Beaudesert Magistrates Court on March 20. A police spokeswoman previously said they would allege in court that the stealing charges related to the theft of handbags and clothing from stores in a Shailer Park shopping centre on December 24. Ms Langdon’s five-year-old daughter failed to get off the bus from Jimboomba State School on the first day of the school year in January, sparking the deployment of significant police resources. It was later discovered that she had fallen asleep on the bus.
